It's reveal day for the LINK CHALLENGE!
Peggy Johnson of Charm Barn is the hostess for this challenge. Peggy sent 25 links out to 21 people who contacted her to participate. Half of the participants received black links and the other half received tortoise shell links. We were challenged to create a masterpiece with the links.
I received the black links...
I wasn't sure what I would do! As I was looking through my own stash I remembered a large polymer focal piece I had created months and months ago. It seemed perfect. It's an abstract piece that reminds me of a shield. When I mixed the piece with the links and the silver chain I had on hand, I really liked it. What do you think?
Be sure to visit the other challenge participants listed below and then return to Peggy's blog to VOTE for your favorite - now through August 25th!
(PS I was a few hours late posting due to unexpectedly being away from my home - so if you want to vote for me, please wait until Peggy has had a chance to upload my photo. Thanks!!)

I love it!!!!!!! Wow a lot of people participated!!!
I love it! It seems like there's a brown undertone to the chain? The center of your pendant pulls it out nicely. :)
Ooh! Nice.
(And hope everything is ok...)
What a nice focal you made! It works perfectly with the links.
Ambra
Looks great, love that you used a piece that was just waiting for the perfect spot.
I love you too Shelley...and you're in the south now...we like buttermilk! :) This was one of the hardest challenges for me! I love the almost tribal feel of your piece!

That pendant is awesome!
The pendant combined with the links and smaller chain is a great balance. Really like what you put together.
