#100 Day Project - Day 43

Taking part in the 100 Day Project with Elle Luna over at The Great Discontent.  We had to come up with our own hashtag to use to describe our 100 days of making - mine is #100daysofochre.

Here's a look at mBy Day 43:   Canvas (12x16)

Materials Used: Gesso, Fine Line applicator, Golden fluid acrylic paints, Chuji Fude brush pen, Stabilo pencil, acrylic glaze medium.

Used a technique by Jane Davies, as shown in her Youtube video, "Black and White Mark Making". Love her!!

#100 Day Project: Day 42

Materials Used: Gesso,  acrylic paint, painted deli paper, matte medium, Stabilo pencil.

Just playing with painted papers today to create something simple. Hopefully the more I work this idea, the better they will get. We'll see.

Materials Used: Gesso,  acrylic paint, acrylic glaze medium, Neo-color II crayon, Stabilo pencil.

This one took me a bit longer to do - lots of lines and circles to perfect. But it's definitely on my list of favs!

Materials Used: Gesso,  acrylic paint, acrylic glaze medium, inks, Faber-Castell Pitt pens, Stabilo pencil.

Doesn't look so hot here.

Remember Day 36? I didn't really like it so I covered it with a couple coats of gesso. Then I painted it with blues and greens. Next I dropped ink and let it run down, spritzing with a bit of water. Did my "circle thing" and ta-da!

I am in a circle kind of mood so expect more!

Love these colors together.

Materials Used: Gesso,  handmade stencil, acrylic paint, acrylic glaze medium,  Stabilo pencil, wax, oil pastels.

It looks nice on the brick wall in my livingroom.

I promise you this was created with the color ochre (same as I used in other pieces). With all the blues it just looks a little orange I guess.
