Oh Lord, I can not believe I am LATE for this reveal, AND being late or not showing for a blog hop is one of my pet peeves too!
I apologize! I TOTALLY forgot about this! [Technically my post isnt late as I got it up on reveal day but mailing was 😪 ]
A while back I signed up to take part in the Whimsical Monkey Earring Swap hosted by Jessica Murray.
My very patient partner for this swap was Laura Medeiros. We went back and forth via e-mails and agreed we'd swap three pairs of earrings. I asked a few questions to try and figure out her style. She told me she liked dangles, but not too long (me either); she liked all colors but wasn't into pastels (me either); and she didn't like anything with a "manufactured look" (me either!)
I also took a look at her Facebook photos and saw that she has a unique style, seems into steampunk and she ALSO belly dances!, or so it appears from her photos - YOU GO GIRL! Overall I'd say she seems like a fun-loving person!
So here is what I created for her -
Pair #1
I used my brass coils and some silver and brass findings - mixed metallics are some of my favs.
Pair #2
I've had these pretty lampworks for a while - think they give these little swirlies a real sassy look!
Pair #3
I paired up some of my polymer clay roses with some brass findings to which I wired a few beads, just for a different look.
I hope she likes them. They probably aren't steampunk exactly but I think they are unique.Because I forgot the date I haven't mailed them out but will get them in the mail TONIGHT!
If you want to see what she created for me (very yummy copper creations!!) check them out by CLICKING HERE.

Well, all the three pairs you've created are beautiful!!! I would wear all of them (not exactly at the same time LOL)!!!
wow.. I love all 3 pairs.
Great post Shelley!! I always better late than never!!!
Like all 3 pair!!
Wow. I am flooooored by your creations! Steampunk or not, I'm sure she loves them! Thanks for participating!
You may have faulty memory, but your design sense is absolutely intact and well developed! What beautiful, lovely, fantastic earrings you chose. I would love to have any of them. Though I especially love the one in the middle. I didn't sent my earrings on time and my swap partner is still waiting, too. No worries...it all works out in the end!
Those are great! Im looking forward to them.
With Jilly's Bead Posse its no wonder that you forgot. However, your earrings are well worth the wait! A beautiful job as always! I hope you enjoy your vacation my skinny friend!!
I like them all, of course Ms. Shelley, but my FAVORITE are the bottom ones. You posted on time. This is supposed to be fun and I can't think your partner is going to mind waiting a day or two to get those in the mail. Awesome.
Beautiful earrings you made! Love how unique they all are! :)
the "sassy" lampwork earrings are awesome!
Love all of them - very ambitious to do three pair!
I love all 3 pairs of your earrings. Beautiful and unique! You should be proud of your work and I'm sure your swap partner is thrilled!
Wow! What a beautiful & unique trio you made! I'm sure Laura will be thrilled to get them.
tsk tsk tsk.. shame on you, Shelley! ;)
LOL I know you've been running your butt off for the past month or so pretty much non stop, so I was surprised you even signed up for this! lol And despite the insanity that has been your home for too long now, you still managed to create three gorgeous pairs of earrings! You astound me, Shell :)
Your earrings are so cool! All three of them are beautiful and definitely original!
Well, I thought I had commented on these, but don't see it. These are all wonderful creations. I love the coil/swirls in the first pair and the swirls with the lampwork on the second pair. The beads added to the filigree in the last pair are too cute. She'll love them all.
